In a global market of wood products, traceability and origins of wood are all but impossible. We believe in the vitality of local, working forests and local wood processing. For our products we process all of our wood ourselves, or source from known sources, and can always account for where it is from.
Products with a Story
We work with forests to sustainably harvest materials and ensure an increasingly beautiful and productive forest for the future. We provide a “Natural History” which includes the history of the landscape where your product comes from and silvicultural reasons for harvesting.
Locally Made
Our products range from spoons and spatulas to rustic and fine furniture all of which are crafted in our studio in Alfred Maine. The wood reflects the land in which it was grown and is truly a piece of Maine.
